Abstract
The aim of this essay is to introduce the loose frames of the Christian Gypsymission, to show its relation and approach. Moreover it would like to present the unappreciation and the reasons of that. It tries to bring closer the aspects of the questions concerned the gypsies in many ways – the question which are caused by the attempts of integration and its failures. This work examines the reasons of incomprehension and the factors inhibiting the understanding embedded into pedagogical frames, from Christian perspective. It unfolds the approach into different levels, proceeding from theory towards practice according to the guideline of practical theology. Poverty, prejudice and stereotypes are mentioned in greater details. This essay has an effort to analyse the social interaction, emphasizing its deficiencies and the possible reasons of its debacle. It gives a more accurate image of the missionary activity of the Reformed Christian Church in Slovakia in the past as well as in the present, furthermore it speaks about the urgency of taking future actions. It draws up well-tried, positive methods regarding to the efficiency of the missionary work among gypsies. It gives practical, real-life solutions for sensitization of the Christian churches, and it also gives advice in connection of the first steps towards the gypsies. It introduces the special nature of the Hungarian gypsies living in Slovakia and it tries to bring closer the internal structure and voivod system of the Vlachs and Lovari gypsies.
