Abstract

For most of his life, Mio Stankovic said, he didn't notice the Gypsies in his small city in Serbia. But one day in the 1970s, an ill Roma Gypsy woman came to his church and asked for help. Mio prayed for her. She felt his warmth and acceptance and was healed. The woman came again and again, soon bringing her young son. Then others followed. It took years, but a miracle happened.
