Abstract

The role of religion and the position of the churches in relation to the Roma ethnic groups are still a largely unexplored area. Religious and ideological attitudes are of crucial importance for understanding and implementing ethnic group-specific issues. The book is based on a qualitative study on the relationship between Roma and the churches, the results of which were related to the official statements of the churches. The book is intended to help overcome discriminatory and antigypsy attitudes in society and churches.
